How to restrict incidents and contacts to be displayed in other interfaces except one interface (1 Comment)

Hi Team,

I have a very interesting scenario and looking for it's resolution. We have a site with 4 interfaces used for various purposes. In which we need to restrict some specific contacts and incidents to be accessed in 3 of those interfaces. We can add filters to reports used in the other 3 interfaces by customizing all sort of reports , but I am looking for a better option which could help us to use the standard reports as it is in other 3 interface and restrict contacts and incidents to be accessed through those reports.

Let's say contacts and incidents created under a specific category or type or source. In 3 interfaces it should work something like this.

  • Those contacts shouldn't be available for incident assignments
  • Contacts shouldn't be listed in contact other standard and custom reports
  • Those incidents shouldn't be displayed in incident reports and shouldn't be available for assignments to any of the actual contacts
  • All these contacts and incidents should be accessible only in interface 4

I would like to know whether the service cloud is capable to handle this scenario and please help me to figure out a solution on this.

Regards,

Kiran
