I'm trying to figure the best way to do this...
Our front-line staff uses the Contact workspace as a dashboard when servicing our members. We'd like to inform our staff immediately after a contact is loaded if the contact qualifies for a certain marketing promotion, e.g. 1.99% auto loan for 72 months, or 0% APR on balance transfers for 12 months. We'd also like for them to be able to decision the promotion, as to avoid the member being offered the promotion each time they contact us.
We don't import much information into Service Cloud, other than basic contact information. As the target lists will be created using very specific account information, the target lists will need to be created outside of Service Cloud, and will need to be imported using the Data Import Wizard.
The 'Promotions' feature seems to have what I need, but I don't see how to create the target list from a data import. Also, the 'Offer Advisor' portion of 'Promotions' seems to only be linked to the Incident workspace.
Creating a campaign allows me to use a data import as an entry point, but doesn't allow me to flow the contact list created from the import into a Promotion.
Any ideas as to how I can best accomplish what I need? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
