Having issue with Escalation Rules after Topic Change (2 Comments)

We tried to change some topics in our database.  Instead of hiding or disabling one of them, it was deleted.

We then went into Rules and tried to update the Workflow Assignment and Workflow Escalation Rules

When we go into the Workflow Escalation rules, we get

"Unknown or Disabled Item - #"   and none of the other choices

the choices show up in the Active database, but disappear when we go into edit

I have attached a screenshot of what it looks like.

Do we have to redo all the rules?   or is there a way to edit the database to get the data back?
