New follow up task not populating under follow up tasks report in incident

Hi 

I am trying to save a new follow up task by clicking the green colour tick in the task workspace.

But the task is then not populating in the follow up tasks in incident unless i save it through ribbon button.

i want the task to be populated before clicking the ribbon button save because i have a requirement where i control the save and do not allow the incident to be saved from my Add-in .

This was happening previously. Is this issue in current version?

can someone please help me?
