Access to KB via Console

We find lots of our agents going out to CP to look up KB articles, the same articles we give them access to via a quick search and Answer workspace. Is there a way to embed CP into the Agent Desktop so it does not use a session. Has anyone else had this problem and handled it another way. I have suggested we block the IPs from CP, but that seems a bit harsh.
