Hi,
I have a Custom Contact Email field on the contact workspace.
Field's data type is 'text field' and the usage on the custom field is selected as 'Email Address'. Length is 80 by default and cannot be changed.
When the agent selects 'Send on Save' and email response as options in messages tab, the envelope next to the contact name shows a red exclamation and reads as 'Invalid Email' and does not send email and also gives an error message that the contact email is not valid.
Any idea why this is happening?
Is this because the out of the box Email field is not being used and being replaced by the custom field?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
This is for Agent Console only on 17D.
