I am looking to build a workflow for new technicians.  I want to start by asking the customer their contact info.  If the person exists, then move on to gathering essential incident detail.  If not, create the customer record, then move to incident gathering.

First of all: Is workflow the correct way to do this? Or, am I going down the wrong path?

If workflow is the correct method, how do I inquire then determine the path?  Does anyone have any working examples of how they are using workflows?
